Moderate Acne
It appears you most likely have moderate acne, which can display obvious inflammation, with numerous papules and pustules. Comedones will also be visible.
Treatments
Once there is significant inflammation an oral antibiotic (capsule or tablet) is usually required. These may take a number of weeks to start working. They are often combined with a topical retinoid (cream or lotion based medication). For women, hormonal therapy can also be a good option.
Expert Advice
The best combination of treatments for you will depend on many factors. Your doctor (or, via a referral from them a dermatologist) will give you the best advice.
